Omawumi Megbele better known simply as Omawumi has joined the newly established digital Afro-centric music group Cabal Entertainment.
The vocal power house singer who is better known as Omawumi becomes the first artist to be signed on to the music and entertainment outfit
.Omawumi about a day ago released her first music offering titled 'Butterflies' under the imprint. The love-themed single produced by Cobhams Asuquo also has an accompanying video.
As an independent artist, she has released two successful albums "Wonder Woman" (2010) and "Lasso of Truth" (2013), which housed the highly successful single 'If you ask me'.
Cabal Entertainment is owned by Obi Asika (former co-owner of defunct label Storm 360) and Chris Ubosi (CEO of Megaelectrics Limited, owners of The Beat FM, Classic FM and Naija FM).
