The Nigerian Super Eagles have risen to 64th in the new FIFA /Coca-Cola
rankings published on FIFA's website today.
Nigeria, coached by Gernot Rohr, is now the 14th best team in Africa
behind Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Senegal, Tunisia, Ghana, Congo DR, Egypt,
Congo, Mali, Morocco, Cameroon, Guinea and South Africa.
Nigeria, before this latest ranking was 67th in the world.
In the international scene Argentina is first while Belgium, Germany and
Colombia occupy the second, third and fourth position respectively.
