The President Buhari led administration has carried out a massive shake-up in the federal civil service with the appointment of Enikanolaiye, Audu-Rafiu Olusola as permanent secretary and the redeployment of eight federal permanent secretaries.
Leadership reports that the shake-up in the service was disclosed in a statement by the director of communications for the head of the civil service of the federation, Haruna Imrana.
Until his appointment, Enikaolaiye was in charge of affair at the Nigerian High Commission India.
Those affected following the edeployment of the eight federal permanent secretaries are: Dr Habiba M.Lawal from Science & Technology to Econogical Funds office (OSGF), Alhaji Abbas Mohammed from Ecological Fund Office (OSGF) to the Ministry Of Solid Minerals.
Others aree Mr Istifanus Fuktur from Solid Minerals to Police Service Commission, Mrs Adamu Bello from Women Affairs to Ministry of Health, Dr Amina Shamaki from Health to The Ministry of Women Affairs, Mrs Belema Wakama Asifieka from Niger Delta to Science & Technology.
While Mr Alao Williams Nwankwo from Economic Affairs Office, (OSGF) was redeployed to the Ministry of Niger Delta, Amb.Bamgbose Akindele from Political Affairs OSGF to the Political & Economic Affairs Office, and Amb. Enikanolaiye Audu-Rafiu Olusola was newly appointed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the circular announcing the redeployments, the process of handling and taking over should be complete on or before August 5, 2016.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated the chairman and commissioners for the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) as at Tuesday 2,2016.
According to Femi Adesina the special adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, Buhari has requested the Senate to comfirm nominees into positions of Chairman, Executive Commissioner, and Non Executive Commissioner of the NCC.
