The Ejeh of Ankpa, Yakubu Ahmodu in Kogi State is dead, he died in his place on Monday at the age of 73.
According to an eyewitness, the monarch returned to Ankpa from Benin on Sunday where he attended the conference of Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, but unfortunately he passed away the following day.
Ahmodu ascended the throne on August 7, 1993. He is survived by wives, children and grand children.
