Report from Edo State reveal the former Accord Party gubernatorial candidate in the State, Dr. Don Pedro Obaseki has been physically attacked by miscreants.
In what seems like a botched assassination attempt in Edo State, some faceless hoodlums attacked Dr. Don Pedro yesterday evening. According to reports, he fortunately managed to escaped the attacked .
The miscreants were said to have beat up Obaseki's Personal Assistance, Mr. Ferdinand Orumwense severely causing an injury on his head.
There is no official statement yet from Obaseki who defected from the All Progressives Congress to the Accord Party after losing the governorship primaries to his cousin brother, Godwin Obaseki.
He later pledge loyalty to the People's Democratic Party gubernatorial flag-bearer, Pastor Lyze Iyanmu against the interest of his causin.
