The Dream Team VI of Nigeria had a bad experience yesternight as they suffered a shocked defeat by German team in the semi-final in Rio Olympics, by 2 goals to nil.
Super Eagles were lacking behind in so many occasions and they suffered for for all the errors they committed. An early goal from L.klostermann put the Germany ahead and the eagles had a brighter chance to equalize just some minutes after the German's goal but their point man failed to utilize the opportunity.
The Captain John Mikel Obi also had another chance to level but his shot was block by a German defender. The late goal from N.Peterson who came in 85mins of play for M.Meyer sealed off the game for Germany.
Eagle will now play in the third place against Honduras who were humiliated by Brazil in the early hours of yesterday by 6 goals to nothing.
